Mission Statement
In 1996, the Salinas Wildcats organization was founded by Geno Sigala and Dan Miller with the intent of furthering the athletic and personal developement of young female softball players from Monterey and San Benito counties and to provide tournament exposure to college recruiters.

Our coaching staff is committed to bettering our players' athletic skills in order for them to succeed at the college level. We intend to provide the best possible learning experience on the field and that each eligible player will be given the opportunity to be recruited.

Our success in the college recruiting process has lured players from as far as San Francisco to the north and San Luis Obispo in the south. The addition of a 16 and under team for the 2009 summer season will insure that the Salinas Wildcats will continue to be one of most competitve Gold softball teams in northern California in the fall and future seasons.

Since 1996, over 100 players from the organization have been signed to play softball at the college level. Our motto is "No Wildcat will be left behind" in the recruiting process.
